The best way to become a Cool Congregation is to use the online Start-up Kits on this website, which will guide you through the process. While the program is for congregations, we also encourage individuals within congregations to take the first step by making changes in their own homes or within the community. No matter where you start, IPL will walk you through a series of steps that involve forming a team; writing a mission statement; finding inspiration in what others have done; deciding what you would like to do; connecting with your State IPL; and encouraging you to Take the Cool Congregations Challenge to receive recognition for your accomplishments.
